The Royal Wedding ;)

okay, okay so I definitely didn’t see a single thing involving the Royal Wedding while we were there, but London was still as dreamy as ever.

Although our day’s in London were pretty limited, it is definitely a place that I will never give up an opportunity to visit. Then again, I can’t think of a single trip I would turn down… While we were there we stayed in the beautiful Rosewood Hotel, and it was super elegant and beautiful, filled with marble everywhere and my personal favorite the bird cages with birds of course, placed throughout most of the hotel.

We arrived right in time to make it to see Wicked on our first night and it was such a great show. We then wen’t back to the hotel for dinner and I got the stir-fry with duck that tasted freaking good, London has definitely turned me onto duck and I am so grateful. (S/O to Duck & Waffle!!!)

The next morning we also ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel called Holborn and the food was great but the iced mocha was by far the star of the show,I had to order 2.

Later that day we went to the National Gallery which is an art museum filled with so many beautiful pieces. From there we also did some walking around and just taking in the beautiful architecture that London has.

We then finished our trip off at The Blueprint Cafe that is has a beautiful view of the river and Tower Bridge. It has a very authentic British menu and we ordered lamb pie with chips.

Lastly, we went to shoreditch for a night out. We began at Ballie Ballerson which is known as the bar with a ball pit. I personally would suggest going once for the experience and after that exploring more of the London nightlife, we then walked around and found other bars in shoreditch that we’re all filled with good music and dancing but to be honest I have no idea what those bars we’re called…

Overall it was such an amazing week and I am so glad to have been able to explore more of my two favorite cities and I already cannot wait to be back in Europe in the Fall.
